BIO

Suh Lavea (they\them)

Eclectic queer artist passionate about education, ecology and regenerative culture.

I graduated highschool with a degree on Arts& Graphic Design,  at 19 years old I discovered juggling and in a urge to express myself I decided to run with the circus.

I started studying at the Flic Circus School (2013-2015) and then graduated in the professional course at the Circus School Carampa in Madrid (2015-2018).

With a curious mind and  the willingness of finding more sustainable way of living and performing I joined the Sea Clown Sailing Circus (2018-2021). I performed with the company Cirko Cachivache in varietes and in the  production ''Stin Oura tou Tigri'' presented at the Stavros Niarchos Festival in 2019 for more than 3.000 people.

I enjoy exploring limits and alternatives to what is considered normality, that brought me to create projects to involve more artists in the art and activism movement like the 'PlasticArt' project supported by Erasmus+ fundings.

I love sharing knowledge and one of the ways has been to be an educator in circus projects for kids and adults in schools and afterschool activities. In the last years I involved myself more in social circus projects with refugee kids in refugee camps, offering them through circus activities social and emotional tools.

I find learning from different humans really enriching, I often follow courses and intensives to expand my artistic and human vocabulary like vertical dance, clown, inclusive juggling, permaculture and group facilitation, to be inspired in new perspectives and have more tools for my future projects.

When I'm not performing or in an educational project you can find me planting food, exploring nature or sailing in the middle of the sea or of the Ocean.
